Stejna Mix Privacy Policy

In short: Stejna Mix collects no personal data. It talks only to your mixer on your local network. Nothing is sent to Stejna Audio or to anyone else.

What the app does with your network

Stejna Mix controls a Midas MR18 or Behringer XR18 / X18 digital mixer over Wi-Fi. To do that, it searches your local network for the mixer and exchanges control messages with it, such as fader levels, mutes, effect settings and meter readings. iPadOS asks your permission for this ("Local Network") the first time you open the app.

These messages travel only between your iPad and your mixer. The app does not connect to the internet, and it has no servers, accounts or sign-in.

What stays on your iPad

• Preferences: your layout and display choices, perform groups, tap tempo, and the name and address of the mixer you last used. These are stored only on your iPad.
• Show files and presets that you save: these go wherever you choose in the Files app, such as on your iPad or in your iCloud Drive. If you choose iCloud Drive, Apple stores them under your Apple Account, as with any other file you save there.

Deleting the app removes its preferences from your iPad. Files you saved in the Files app stay where you put them until you delete them.

What the app does not do

• No analytics, usage tracking or advertising.
• No third-party software development kits that collect data.
• No collection of your name, email address, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information.
• No sharing or selling of data, because there is none to share.

Crash reports

If the app crashes and you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPad's settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share an anonymous crash report with us. We use these reports only to fix problems. You can turn this off at any time in those settings.

Children

Stejna Mix is a tool for operating audio equipment and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
